a guide to pandeiro
$14.95
“a guide to pandeiro” is a collection of over 500 exercises and patterns for one of the coolest instruments ever created, the pandeiro. brazil has many great percussion instruments such as the surdo, tambourim, caixa, ganza, apito, atabaque, caxixi, repenique, and agogo. with the pandeiro, being one of the more challenging and versatile instruments, it can sound like many of these instruments all rolled into one. known in the united states as the brazilian tambourine, the pandeiro is used in traditional and contemporary forms of music and is an instrument worthy of its own book.
